Youth Services
With Modern Psychiatry and Wellness’ Youth Services, adolescents ages 12-17 will participate in programs designed specifically for them. From personalized assessments to therapy, each teen will receive the care they need with the support of our professional staff.
Modern Psych aims to teach, support, and enable families within our community to better understand and care for the mental health of our youth. These services are also covered by Medicaid.

Genesis Program
Modern Psychiatry and Wellness is a partner of Genesis Life and Recovery, a recovery housing program for individuals who suffer from addiction. We provide a sober and safe living environment for clients who wish to have spiritual discipleship and access to evidence-based structured treatments for their addictions. Within this program, clients will receive 24/7 support and guidance, meals, lodging, detox and withdrawal management, counseling, and more.
Genesis Program

Assessment
Treatment services will begin with an evaluation of each patient, by trained clinicians, to determine the nature and extent of their current challenges related to mental health and addiction. Assessment services consist of time-limited, structured, face-to-face sessions. Treatment options are suggested and recommended at the end of each assessment. Walk-in assessments for drug and alcohol addiction treatment are available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 3 pm at Modern Psychiatry and Wellness Hamilton and West Chester locations.

Types of groups for those in addiction recovery may include intensive outpatient program (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Outpatient (OP), and Relapse Prevention

Typically, PHP patients make an average of 5 visits per week to the care facility or hospital. IOP is a step down from PHP and is used to treat moderate symptoms of addiction. IOP requires fewer and shorter visits to the treatment facility than PHP does.

Case Management
Case management services are available to help people gain access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services essential to meeting basic needs. Our Case Managers can assist with the completion of applications for rental assistance, Medicaid, and Social Security. They can also refer you to agencies that can help with transportation, housing, utility costs, and employment.

Our Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners provide evaluations for medical services and treatment for medication for mental health conditions like depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, anxiety, and ADHD. We also provide treatment for alcohol addiction, opioids, and other drugs in our medication assisted treatment programs. To assist with best prescribing success, we may administer genetic testing to better match medication options for you.
